Obama Barack's grandmother, Madeline Dunham, has made her transition today at the age of 86 in Hawaii with Barack's sister Maya-Soetoro-Ng by her side at approximately 5am EST.
Earlier today in North Carolina, Obama said his grandmother had 'gone home' and 'died peacefully in her sleep' as a result of her battle with cancer.
