Most famously known as 'Mr. (Harry) Bentley," the character on 'The Jefferons' sitcom, who affectionately called George Jefferson, "Mr. J," Paul Benedict-has passed away. Actor Benedict, died at Martha's Vinyard at the age of 70.
Benedict's character also, introduced bootleg chiropractic solutions into the home-by way of having people of smaller stature 'walk' on the back of the afflicted who would lay prostrate on the ground...I remember doing that when I was younger.
