And Playboy thought this was a good idea??

Why don't Playboy Magazine just keep it real and ADMIT they effed up, royally??

Translated, te adoromos, maria means,
'We adore you, Mary'
Not Mary as in biblical Mary...
but Mary as in uhhh, sayyyy...uhhhh Mary Hart (yeah that's it), Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight! Come on, PLAYBOY!!

How can you all say that??  Based on popular renditions of  Jesus' mother (thanks, Pusser!!)...one is lead to believe this indeed was meant to invoke thoughts of Mary, the mother of the Christ.

I'm sure under the right circumstances

 (like smoking crack, tossing back a fifth of Cuervo, playing a drinking game, doing a line or two of 'caine) putting "Mary" as in Jesus' momz (Maria) on the cover of Playboy SEEMED like a good idea at the time. 

However, it seems, the powers that be at Playboy,underestimated its autoerotic audience. I guess you can indulge in self-love and be religious, too.

Not expecting an overwhelming backlash to the cover, read Playboy's explanation below:

Playboy Mexico has said the cover was not meant to portray the Virgin Mary, despite being printed just days before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe -- both Catholic holidays centering on the Virgin Mary.

Well I'll be...it seems the IQ of Playboy Mexico readership is higher than 5 fingers!!

All in the name of sales...Go figure.
