Shysters, Perverts & Pimps in Jesus Name News...

drumbeat to my blogmama Lynn for this story.

It wasn't enough having a prestigious position in church, a wife, a child, and respect. Timothy D. Price III had to use and abuse his power as a church leader and sex up a TWELVE YEAR OLD CHILD. I will CONTINUE to POST AND EXPOSE PEDOPHILES-much to the chagrin of the attendees of named churches in my posts. What's unbelievable is that "church folk" stand by their pedophiles, perverts etc and not the victims. Well let me clarify-, if the perv has a title, they stand by him. Cuz let it be known that Mookie who has no car, no money etc is a pedophile they'll run him up out of the church the way the KKK did our people.

TIMOTHY D. PRICE III, who made it known in the video below several times that he was young, I'M PUTTING U ON BLAST FOR HAVING THE NERVE TO MINSTER IN SONG ABOUT THE GOODNESS AND LOVE OF GOD...WHEN THE ONLY LOVIN' U WERE CONCERNED ABOUT, WAS WHAT U COULD GET FROM A CHILD, A BABY, A MINOR, A KID!!

Church official accused of rape

Music director held in 3 city incidents involving girl, 12

The 31-year-old music director of Bethel AME, a high-profile West Baltimore church, has been accused of rape and child abuse in a case involving a 13-year-old girl who is a member of the congregation, according to city police and church officials.

Timothy D. Price III was charged with second-degree rape, assault and child abuse, and multiple sex offense counts, city police said. Since his arrest Wednesday night, Price, who lives in Owings Mills, has been held on $1 million bail at Baltimore's Central Booking and Intake Center, electronic court records show.

Price and the girl had sex on three occasions in his car, off church property, between early November and January, police said. Twice the meetings occurred in a West Baltimore alley and once in the parking lot of Druid Hill Park, according to police charging documents.

The documents allege that one encounter occurred after Price obtained permission from the girl's mother to bring her home from church Bible study class. Police said the girl was 12 when the incidents occurred. Price confessed to having sex with the girl, according to police charging documents.

Bethel AME's congregation has more than 17,000 registered members. Many of those who come to services on Druid Hill Avenue in Upton commute from surrounding counties.

The church and its pastor, the Rev. Frank M. Reid III, are known for their influence. A number of the city's top leaders, including Mayor Sheila Dixon and Comptroller Joan M. Pratt, are Bethel members, former mayor Kurt L. Schmoke is Reid's stepbrother, and Sunday services are frequent stops for candidates for city and statewide office.

In an interview this morning, Reid called Price's arrest "a real shock."

He said his church had not received any prior written or verbal complaints about Price, whose full-time job was to lead the various musical programs at the church. He said the last time he saw Price was during services for Ash Wednesday, two days ago. Then, later in the day, he got a phone call from someone who said Price had been arrested.

"For everybody involved it is a great tragedy," Reid said. "He had a good reputation, as far as I was aware. ... The people loved him."

Reid said that Price was hired in 2006 after the church went through a national recruitment process for a new music director. He said Price's references were checked, and that he came from a church in Houston. He has a wife and at least one child, a 1-year-old daughter, Reid said.

"It's a very important and responsible position," Reid said. "He is in contact with all members of the church, because of the position he's in."

Before coming to Baltimore in 2006, Price spent three years with Harvest Time Church in Houston, where he was director of the fine-arts ministry.

In 2005, he and the founder of the church, Bishop Shelton Bady, released The Voices of Harvest, a compact disc billed as music for "contemporary worship and urban church."

A short biographical sketch about Price on a Web site that sells the CD describes him as a "sought out" and "influential" man who has been "chosen to change the face of evangelism."

"Be on the lookout for this man as he Wins Souls, Meet Needs, Heal Hurts, and Birth Visions for the glory of God!" the Web site says.

Bady and other officials with his church could not be reached for comment.

When Bethel AME was looking for a new music director, Reid said, Price emerged as the "best candidate."

He took over the church's music and arts ministry and, in October, led a church choir in a gospel music competition at Morgan State University that was sponsored by UniSun, an African-American lifestyle publication of The Sun. The Bethel AME Church Outreach of Love Choir won.

Price was among several choir directors who spoke during a question-and-answer session with people who attended the gospel celebration at Morgan's Murphy Fine Arts Center. He said he had been involved with music and ministry for 25 years, nearly "all my life."

"This is how I live," he said during the event, which The Sun videotaped. "This is why I live. I believe it is to touch the lives, the hearts of people, and to bring them back to the heart of God."

****
To the Price Family-my heart goes out to you. To the young woman who was raped, and I pray that you and your family can overcome this devastation. Thank God it was reported so that these lowlifes can be exposed.
CHURCHES be warned...PREDATORS ARE REAL. They prey on the weak, vulnerable, lonely and young.
Just bcuz it seems a person is 'anointed' (and that word is used too loosely in church these days-just bcuz someone riled you up, or got your attention DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANOINTED) doesn't mean they are. PRAY and ASK GOD TO REVEAL. The stench of perversion with children and others in the church is NASTY. Get those pervs out of the church!

This Book Should Be Interesting...

Author (and 1st Lady), Candie Price

THE LIFE AND ROLE OF A PASTOR'S WIFE: New book unleashes the truth about being a pastor's wife.
(September 24, 2007)

source: eurweb.com

Candie A. Price, a pastor's wife of seventeen years, explores the angst and ambiguity surrounding the role and expectations of the pastor's wife in her new book, First Lady: The Real Truth, A Practical Approach to an Ambiguous Role. Price, whose husband, Rev. Arthur Price, Jr., currently pastors the historic Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL, provides insights from a personal and biblical perspective in this candid and transparent book about the lives of pastor's and minister's wives.

Price's life changed forever when her husband accepted the call to go into full-time ministry over fifteen years ago. "I was waiting for someone to say, "Baby, this is what you need to do...this is what you should prepare for. But no one ever did. Many women don't know what to expect when their husbands are called into ministry. What does this mean for her? What should she prepare for? This book will help her answer those questions," says Price. She offers biblical responses to many issues relevant to the pastor's/minister's wives' lifestyle, including but not limited to:

* What is God's purpose for your life as a pastor's/minister's wife?

* How do you balance church and home?

* How do you deal with the man of God when he is in sin?

* Do you have to be involved in the ministry to be an effective pastor's/minister's wife?

* How do you handle loneliness?

The Prices have served in two congregations and have approximately fifteen years full-time ministry experience. "It is my desire that everyone that reads this book will come away with a greater understanding of the commitment and sacrifices that it takes to serve God's people. In all reality this is not just a book for pastor's and their wives, but it can also serve as a guide for everyone already involved or attempting to be involved in church leadership."

*****************
Truthfully speaking, I'm not mad at Sis. Candie for carving her own niche. It's hard being a pastor's wife (so I've heard and observed). I wonder if her book educates the reader on how she handles the jezebels who laughs in her face and at the same time is strategizing how to steal her husband? You know there are those "special'' (used loosely) women who only chase after a man with a title. She could care less if he's married, a pastor or has children. Now that would be some real truth to have in the book. I also know it affects the kids-dad is gone all the time. The church family seems to be priority, instead of his biological family.

Hopefully, this book will inspire women such as Sis. Candie, to speak out and offer support to one another. And for those who read this book maybe compassion will be extended towards these "weary warriors," because truthfully, the grass IS NOT always greener on the other side.

You better recognize!
