"Ben Hur" Dead at 84

R.I.P. Charlton Heston

Legendary actor and former NRA president Charlton Heston died at his Beverly Hills home last night at the age of 84.

A family spokesperson said Heston died with his wife, Lydia, by his side. No further details of his passing have been released.

You know - it must be nice to be being famous.
ANOTHER celebrity escapes justice that is reserved for only "regular people." Recovering addict Lindsay Lohan,who's more famous for her grainy video depicting her snorting 'caine, than her movies, went to jail!

And then she was released 84 minutes later.


Now, now, before you start-Lindsay was searched, fingerprinted, placed in a holding cell while keeping her street clothes on-well why should she change clothes, if she's getting released 1.5 hrs later?!

Must be nice.
I wonder how would my cousin Sissy feel about that?
she has a dui charge just like Lo-lo but she's been locked up for over a week.

And since she's been there over a week, I'm pretty darn sure she's not wearing her street clothes.
Well, not everyone can be Lo-lo!
hmmmm...yeah must be nice.

Whether you loved, or hated him Norman Mailer could care less.

The famous or infamous (depending on the perspective) author Norman Mialer has died at the age of 84, of kidney (renal) failure.

Known for not kowtowing to society's expectations, Norman was a man of total unexpectation.

He was a brawler, drank, smoked weed, married 6 x's-stabbing wife #2 almost fatally, had 9 children, refused to use a computer-writing with a pen 1500 words/day.

Because of his staunch position against women's lib--he was known as " the ultimate chauvinist pig."

Mailer's greatest literary work (according to some) was called "The Naked and The Dead" which was based on his experience in the army, and was a bestseller at the age of 25.

The literary world will never be the same without hellcat Norman Mailer.
