The 74-year-old founder and leader of Tony Alamo Christian Ministries was arrested without incident at 2:45 p.m. (4:45 p.m. ET) as he was departing the Little America Hotel with his wife, said Manuel Johnson, spokesman for the FBI in Phoenix, Arizona.

The FBI, the Flagstaff Police Department and the Arizona Department of Public Safety were involved in the arrest, he said.

***

This man knows he is nasty.

How did he think he could get away with this trash.

Another Kristian.

This perv was charged with transporting a minor across state lines for sex.

Nicca please.

Of course the freak denied the charges...but this man had a 15-acre compound that was raided, and kids were removed and are being questioned.

He's also accused of marrying off girls when they reach puberty to older men.

Why?

Oh cuz Tony "Perv" Alamo says

"..puberty is the age of consent.."

PUNK, my godbaby entered puberty at 9...u mean to tell me that's giving consent for my baby to become sexually active.

This dude is SEVENTY FOUR, 74Y/O...so only GOD KNOWS how long he's been doing this ish.

Just nasty and I bet his nasty wife was in on it too.

Better late than never regarding his capture.

A new DVD featuring national evangelist Juanita Bynum behind the pulpit is expected to hit major stores Tuesday.

The two-hour DVD, "Unplugged," is a compilation of exclusive interviews, sermon highlights and performances from Bynum's gold-selling gospel CD "A Piece of My Passion."

It will be available at Wal-Mart and Target stores among other retailers, said her publicist Amy Malone.

A portion of proceeds for "Unplugged," which was recorded at a metro Atlanta church, will help to support organizations fighting domestic violence.

"It will be a domestic violence charity, we just don't know which one yet," said Malone.

"Unplugged" is being released by Flow Records. According to the Texas-based label, Bynum is its best-selling female gospel recording artist. She has been on the Billboard Charts for more than 88 weeks for her last CD, officials report.

Bynum, who recently made national headlines with a very public divorce filing, has called herself the "new face of domestic violence."

The 48-year-old pastor has accused her estranged husband Thomas W. Weeks III of beating, choking and stomping her to the ground in an Atlanta hotel parking lot in August.

The couple has since filed for divorce in Gwinnett County.

Weeks, who denies the beating, was charged with felony aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple battery in connection with the alleged attack.
