Jesse Jackson to Quote Rihanna: "You Look So Dumb Right Now..."

From The Nicca Chronicles...

Ohhhhh Jesse.
Mr. Jackson if you're nasty.
When will you learn.
How many times have you been caught with that salty foot of yours in your mouth?!
You want to promote racial unity
... racial harmony
... you do remember the Rainbow Coalition??
The image “http://www.populist.org/rainbow/rainbow-co.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

So after all of your work...why would YOU of all people become a catalyst to cause more division in our already divided community??

I'm sure when you wished for Obama's nuts...u didn't mean it like the sign below...I'm sure u were uhhh, figuratively speaking...right?

Granted, you were the trailblazer as the 1st black man to make a bid for the presidency...but it was not time.
Now Obama, has walked in your footsteps and have created his own.

Sure he hem and haws, flips and flops-but he wasn't nearly as bad as poor ole Hillary-ous Clinton.
But was it necessary to put him on blast (although inadvertently), which resulted in putting yourself on blast as a
classless,
uncouth,
partaker of:

It's the truth anyhow.
Did you really have to say this about Obama:

You, a man who's been in front of a camera & mic'd up a kagrazillion times didn't think your mic was powered up this one time?
Don't you know people wait with bated breath for an opportunity to upload a hot mess on Youtube!!

smh
Come on now.

So now you're doing damage control:

There is NO privacy when you're near cameras with a mic on!
smh

I'm not sure if I'm voting for Obama, but I must give it to him for not letting ur words take him off his square, but instead chose to quickly accepting your apology.
IMO i think you're going to help him score more cool points.

Anyhooo...you've just given Loren Feldman ammunition to spoof our people-yet again. I guess he must make his money the best way he knows how, huh?
At our expense...but it's cool.
Anyway...I don't think you should apologize for something you meant to say.
I think you should keep it real and say...
I'm SORRY I GOT CAUGHT hatin' on Obama.
You're not sorry you talked about him...you're sorry /embarrassed your words were picked up on the mic...isn't that the truth, Jesse??

JJJ, Jesse's son, was quoted as saying (and man is he brave!):
"I'm deeply outraged and disappointed in Rev. Jackson's reckless statements about Sen. Barack Obama," the younger Jackson said. "His divisive and demeaning comments about the presumptive Democratic nominee -- and I believe the next president of the United States -- contradict his inspiring and courageous career."
He also said:
...he'll "always love" his father. But, he said, "I thoroughly reject and repudiate his ugly rhetoric."

sounds like a lil familial disharmony/division as well...hmm

Jesse (dad) read the lyrics below and see if you see yourself ANYWHERE in the lyrics...I'm just sayin:

Family...what do you have to say???

Note to Jesse Jackson: Open Mouth, Insert Foot & Keep it There!!

I love dropping in at independentconservative.com's website. Brother IC, always knocks the ball out of the park w/his posts.

I'm not sure what Jesse Jackson was thinking, but he was very irresponsible in his statement. I'm glad the young man was released, but to liken it to Christ's ordeal is disrespectful. Jesus did not have his face in the place, committing sexual immorality for all the world to see (videotaping). Maybe he was overwhelmed with emotion because Genarlow was surprisingly freed, I don't know. But he better issue a statement and clean this mess up. This is why he would never become President...not of the U.S. anyways. Now he's addressed as "reverend"(i'll NEVER address a human as 'reverend-that's another post) but what local body does he preside over? When does he minister? and to whom? I'm just asking.

Read Bro. I.C's passionate post below:

"Jesse Jackson Blasphemes. Compares Genarlow Wilson’s Release with
Resurrection of Christ!"

source

This man Jesse Jackson is just the biggest manipulator and spewer of heresy in Atlanta at the moment. Today a kid named Genarlow Wilson, who had been locked up for having sexually immoral activity with a girl was released. The whole dispute was her age, some early assessments of events and details in GA’s sexual abuse laws. I recall when it first all occurred. The kid’s made video of it all. And it certainly appeared he had taken advantage of a mentally unstable girl. (The girl is mentally challenged.) Just nastiness. Honestly, that’s why I never said a word about it. Once upon a time groups like the NAACP had a morality standard and if you didn’t meet the standard, you didn’t go crying to them when you got locked up. Now it’s different, but I was not going to cry about consequences of sexually immoral behavior. The court has ruled and I respect their opinion as much as any previous decisions in the case. But Jesse Jackson said a prayer (which of course was not closed in the name of the Son of God Christ Jesus, because it was Jesse Jackson’s prayer), where he said some things of flat out heresy.

He mentioned IN THE PRAYER, that Tom Joyner, Steve Havery and others speaking on behalf of Genarlow Wilson were like (paraphrasing) “voices in the wilderness like John the Baptist. “

Notice Jesse picked John the Baptist, like a run-up to Christ.

Then as the AJC.com Political Insider blog notes and they have link to the full audio of Jackson
Jackson on Genarlow: ‘We’ve endured the crucifixion, and now we see the stone is rolling away’

…
But most interesting was the prayer at the end of the press conference, which Jackson led.

“We thank You for his parents, who would not surrender in the face of tyranny,” Jackson said. “Now its morning time, and we feel a sense of joy that it’s morning time. We’ve endured the crucifixion, and now we see the stone is rolling away.”

“In Genarlow Wilson, You say the ground is no place for a champion. And so we rise.”
…

Well no wonder he didn’t close the prayer in the name of the Lord! He’s making the guy released from prison out to be Christ!

This is just a height of blasphemy and needed to be noted here. If you don’t believe me, click the audio link above and and they have an audio link where you can hear it all for yourself.

JESSE JACKSON, STOP BLASPHEMING THE WORK OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!

Does anybody think Jesse Jackson spoke to Genarlow Wilson about if he has accepted Christ as Savior? I would ask did the so-called reverend counsel Wilson to turn from sexual immoral behavior given the mess it’s caused him more, but I won’t because Jesse Jackson has been caught forsaking his own wife and I know he probably never once showed any care for Genarlow Wilson’s soul. So if you meet Genarlow, since Jesse Jackson probably didn’t do it, see if you can speak with him about Christ. His body is free from man’s prison and it would be good that he was given assistance regard

Yes...WHAT WOULD WAL-MART THINK?!

DEF JAM DENIES 'N-WORD' FOR NAS ALBUM: Source says 'How would that look at Wal-Mart?'
source

*A source close to Island Def Jam Group chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid is now claiming that the new album from Nas will not be called the N-word as the rapper had announced during a concert Friday night in New York.
"There is no album release by Nas on the release schedule at this point," the source told FOX News. "And they would be unlikely to release an album with that title. How would that look at Wal-Mart?"
Before anyone from Def Jam could even address Nas' statement, Rev. Jesse Jackson and the NAACP had already issued comments condemning the artist for the announced title.
"The title using the 'N' word is morally offensive and socially distasteful," Jackson said in a statement. "Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honor in it. Radio and television stations have no obligation to play it and self-respecting people have no obligation to buy it."
"I wish he would use his talents to lift up and inspire, not degrade, making mockery of racism," he added.
"We will not support and we will not continually be assailed by other individuals who want to use that type of term in our presence" said national NAACP spokesman Richard McIntire, according to Fox News. "This has gone on long enough."

***

I was hoping the record company couldn't be that stupid.

People get upset that Jesse Jackson, and Sharpton are always on TV, but if idiots in our community, would catch, grab, beg, borrow, steal or buy a clue-it wouldn't be necessary. I'm hoping one day...before I die..we as a people can get it together.

I'd even settle for...'on the way to getting it together.'
I just want to say to Nas: NI**A, R U CRAZY?!

Oh Jesse...why won't they leave you alone???

Y'all need to leave ol' Jesse alone!
Obama's comin' to a hood near U!

JESSE JACKSON DENIES SAYING OBAMA IS ‘ACTING WHITE’: Activist clarifies statement regarding senator’s stance on Jena 6.
(September 21, 2007)

*A South Carolina newspaper quoted Jesse Jackson as saying Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was "acting like he's white" for not speaking out more forcefully about the Jena 6 situation in Louisiana.

However, Jackson released a statement Wednesday saying his words were “taken out of context.” Columbia’s State newspaper claims the civil rights activist made the comment after speaking at historically black Benedict College on Tuesday. According to the article, Jackson called the incident in Jena "a defining moment, just like Selma was a defining moment," and said Obama's failure to seize the opportunity to speak out against what he describes as a disparate approach to prosecuting whites and blacks demonstrates his weaknesses as a candidate.
“If I were a candidate, I’d be all over Jena,” Jackson said in his remarks after the speech, according to the published account.

Jackson later told the newspaper he did not remember making the "acting like he's white" comment about the black Presidential candidate. But State reporter Roddie Burris stands by his story. He told FOX News that the comment came during a 45-minute, one-on-one interview with Jackson Tuesday after his hour-long speech at Benedict College. Click here to read The State article (http://www.thestate.com/local/v-print/story/177514.html).

Responding to the controversy, Jackson said in his statement: "I reaffirm my commitment to vote for Sen. Barack Obama. I think Jena is another defining moment of the issue of race and the criminal justice system. This issue requires direct and bold leadership. I commend Sen. Obama for speaking out and demanding fairness on this defining issue. Any attempt to dilute my support for Sen. Obama will not succeed."
The Illinois senator, in a statement late Wednesday reacting to Jackson's comment, said "outrage over an injustice" such as in the Jena case "isn't a matter of black and white. It's a matter of right and wrong."

Obama cited earlier statements in which he "demanded fairness" and said they "were carefully thought out with input and support" from one of his national campaign chairmen — Jesse Jackson Jr., a Chicago congressman and son of the elder Jackson.

The Democratic candidate also spoke out about the Jena 6 case in a statement last Friday, after a state appeals court threw out the only remaining conviction against Mychal Bell, one of the black teenagers accused in the December attack on a white schoolmate. Obama said he hoped the decision would lead the prosecutor "to reconsider the excessive charges brought against all the teenagers in this case. And I hope that the judicial process will move deliberately to ensure that all of the defendants will receive a fair trial and equal justice under the law.

On Sept. 10, the senator said: "When nooses are being hung in high schools in the 21st century, it's a tragedy. It shows that we still have a lot of work to do as a nation to heal our racial tensions. This isn't just Jena's problem; it's America's problem."

*********
Did Jesse Jackson, Jr say those words? WHO CARES! The issue is the absence of Barack in Jena, LA.
So I'm going to keep it real with you, and put it down for you: There is NO WAY Obama is going to alienate those who are providing major funding to his campaign. He has major players include Ms. Oprah "you-better-do-what-I-say-or-I'll-be-blackball-U" Winfrey.
While he did have permission to release a statement to appease a few angry people, there was NO WAY he was going to show his face-in-the-place (Jena, LA) with that many angry black people (what would his $$ backers think?!) I'm not saying he had to show up in all black, looking like a black panther, but he could've shown up in his Brooks Brother, Armani or whomever's suit he's rocking and give a few words of support. No one asked him to disparage the town of Jena, simply show up-everyone knows Obama's busy trying to be elected president! It would not have been held against him if he stayed in Jena for a short time.
Due to his not showing up--he's lost about 34,262,614,798,833,316,672,221 cool points-and counting!
He could've had the black votes on lock!

Now-although he did not show his face-in-the-place (Jena, LA) and protest the wrongdoing of that town- you BETTA believe he'll be showing-his-face-in-the-place (your hood, town or city) at a CHURCH, COMMUNITY CENTER, SCHOOL AUDITORIUM, town hall meeting - for your vote. JUST WATCH. *sigh*
Peeps-if you're not good enough to march with, if you're not good enough to fight with, your votes shouldn't be good enough either, right? I'm just saying.

Why don't everyone send HIM a press release (like he did with Jena 6) wishing him the best on his election--i wonder how would that sit with Barack?

Villagers, as the song says "everybody plays the fooooool...sometimes." The operative word is SOMETIMES! It's one thing to be a fool unaware, but it's another to be played a fool with your permission.
I don't know the man from a can of paint. I hold no ill-will towards him, I simply feel he lost out on a great opportunity to be a part of American history. There was no mention of Jena, LA on his website either: http://www.barackobama.com/ *sigh*

Family all I have to say is: YOU BETTA RECOGNIZE!
