Chile, it's hard being 'low-low-but not THAT LOW-kinda middle class' and not get in trouble...so I can't even imagine what it's like being 'royalty' in another country. But if you're rich, prominent, and have status...WHY R U GETTING INTO TROUBLE (allegedly) anyways??

What am I talking about?

It seems that 'actor' turned first lady-duchess, Queen, lady-in-waiting, Your Highness...whatever her title is, Lisa Raye's (of movie 'Player's Club' fame) husband Premier of Turks & Caicos (I guess that makes LisaRaye-Premieress) Michael Misick is being investigated for sexual assault charges against a Puerto Rican female,over 18.
Uhh ok. Heck, with that description we'll be able to identify the victim in any Macy's Parade crowd!

Surely, he knows it doesn't take much to get caught up in a compromising situation as a politician! LisaRaye should've googled, 'Hot Mess Politicians' printed out the results and and stuck it on his wall...just so he'd have a clue!

I hope it's not true.

I did think it was odd, when I saw a recent pic of Lisa Raye and she didn't have on her official 'American girl-who-hit-a-good-lick-White.'

It made me wonder (for a moment) if all was well at the crib.

Did she stand up to him and say, "Michael I swear...if you BUY ME ONE MORE WHITE OUTFIT...we're taking it outside, so my daughter don't see me go Player's Club on your behind!!"
I'm sure after she clicked the remote and played that scene (where she beat up 'Ronnie' near the end of the movie) for him...he thought better of it.
If I know Lisa Raye (and i don't, lol) she probably had aunty Vivica (Fox), gel down those sides, pull that (collagen) syringe out of her lips and smuggle a dress to T&C with the quickness!

Aunty Viv, has some nice taste-thtat dress looks great on Lisa Raye!
She oughta switch up more often...or dang, add a splash of color (or put Aunty Viv on payroll, and let her become her personal shopper-wouldn't hurt).
Lisa Raye reminds me of Morgan Freeman (in his role as 'God') on Bruce Almighty-with all that white. She just took it to another level.

Anyhooo...I just hope that love she was gushing about during her wedding, still applies. Whether he's guilty or not, this is sure to test their marriage-and this is where your vows come into play. She always came across to me as fiercely loyal, and I hope that's true. Cuz although Lisa Raye is pretty, she still looks like she'll pull a switch blade out on ya! lol

*More details of the alleged misconduct by a dorm parent at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa have surfaced. According to Fox News, an Afrikaans-language newspaper reported that the female employee is accused of various incidents of physical and sexual abuse against the students.

The woman, who has since been removed from the campus, allegedly grabbed a girl by the throat and threw her against a wall. Other alleged charges were that she swore and screamed at the girls, assaulted them and had sexually fondled at least one of them, according to Rapport newspaper.

The alleged incidents went public after one of the pupils ran away from the school because the abuse had become intolerable, according to Rapport. Her parents immediately notified the school.

Winfrey, herself the victim of childhood sexual abuse, immediately caught a flight to South Africa to check on the allegations. She is said to have arrived just over a week ago, missing an important Hollywood engagement. She then returned unexpectedly on Friday and left again on Sunday, reports Fox News.

The TV mogul met with the school’s executive and private investigators and held a two-hour meeting with the parents of her students, who were flown to Johannesburg from all over the country. A report by a private investigator flown in from the United States to conduct an inquiry with a South African counterpart has been turned over to the local police.

In her only public comment about the incident, Winfrey issued a statement saying: “Nothing is more serious or devastating to me than an allegation of misconduct by an adult against any girl at the academy.”

You offended many Americans after you opened your school in the Motherland.

But in light of recent events, I'm glad you didn't.

I'm not sure what the hiring process is over there, but it seems pervs slip thru the cracks over there, just like in America!

It takes more than throwing your name on top of a building, you need hands on involvement, and I don't mean like the kind that female employee (above) exhibited.

I pray that you and your team screen these potential employees more closely. Just because they live in the motherland doesn't mean ulterior motives do not run amok there as well.

I'm sure you'll be able to put a "spin'' on this when you return home.

Please see to it that those young ladies receive counseling...and put the perv under the school!

WASHINGTON - Idaho Sen. Larry Craig said he was entrapped in a sex sting at an airport men's room and was not aware of the bathroom's reputation as a spot to cruise for gay sex. "Well, I certainly am now," Craig told NBC's Matt Lauer in an interview aired Tuesday night.

"Were you prior?" Lauer asked.
"Not at all," Craig responded. "I go to bathrooms to use bathrooms."

Craig said it was a "tough call" when he decided not to tell his wife or children about the arrest.
"I didn't want to embarrass my wife, my kids, Idaho and my friends," Craig said. "I should have told my wife. I should have told my kids. And most importantly, I should have told counsel."
Suzanne Craig said that when her husband told her the story was about to break, "I felt like the floor was falling out from under me. And I felt almost like I was going down a drain for a few moments."
Craig, a three-term Republican, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in August after he was accused of soliciting sex in a bathroom at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in June.
After the matter became public, Craig tried to withdraw his plea. But a judge in Minnesota refused, saying Craig's plea "was accurate, voluntary and intelligent, and ... supported by the evidence." On Monday, Craig appealed that ruling to the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
"I hoped it would go away," Craig said of his decision to plead guilty. "I wanted to avoid a media storm."
Craig, 62, says he is not gay, and in the NBC interview, he and his wife said their marriage was based on love. Asked by Lauer whether theirs was a marriage of convenience to cover "a gay lifestyle," Suzanne Craig responded, "I would never do that. ... That's almost like selling your soul for something."

Suzanne Craig says she believes her husband is not gay. "I honestly believe my husband has always been faithful to me in every way," she said.

"I love this woman very, very much," Craig said in the interview, taped at the couple's home in suburban Eagle, Idaho. "And the day I found her I fell in love, deeply in love. And that's lasted — we're heading toward our 25th anniversary."
Craig also discussed his relationship with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Craig was Senate liaison for Romney's campaign, a post he abandoned when the scandal became known. Romney called Craig's conduct "disappointing and disgraceful" and immediately dropped Craig when the guilty plea was revealed.

"I was very proud of my association with Mitt Romney," Craig said. "And he not only threw me under his campaign bus, he backed up and ran over me again."
Craig, who had initially said he planned to resign, reiterated that he will not leave his Senate seat until his term expires in January 2009. He has said he will not seek re-election.
Craig said he will continue to pursue his legal options.

VATICAN CITY (AP) - The Vatican said Saturday it has suspended a monsignor from a senior post at the Holy See after an Italian TV program using a hidden camera recorded him making advances to a young man and asserting that gay sex was not sinful. The Vatican did not identify the monsignor by name. But Monsignor Tommaso Stenico confirmed in a telephone interview with The Associated Press that he had been suspended from his post at the Vatican 's Congregation for Clergy, an office which aims to ensure proper conduct by priests.


"Don't condemn me," Stenico said, adding that the program "was done fraudulently" because it used a hidden camera. In the program on private Italian network La7, a man identified as a priest is heard saying that he "didn't feel he was sinning" by having sex with gay men. Rome daily La Repubblica reported Saturday that Vatican officials recognized the monsignor's office in the background of the program, which aired Oct. 1. The Rev. Federico Lombardi, a Vatican spokesman, said the Italian monsignor was suspended while the case was under investigation. "Higher-ups are evaluating the situation with the necessary reserve and with the obligatory respect for the person involved, even if this person has erred," Lombardi said. Vatican officials "had to intervene decisively and with the severity required by conduct not compatible with priestly service and with the mission of the Holy See," he added. While the Vatican rarely comments on individual sex scandals, this case directly touched the Holy See, apparently prompting the confirmation of the report. Vatican teaching holds that homosexual activity is a sin. Stenico said to call back later in the day when he would have more to say, but later attempts to reach him were not successful. The Italian news agency ANSA quoted him as saying he had sent his superiors "a dutiful memo" about the case.

The good news is: At least children weren't involved.

The bad news is: The Catholic Church can't seem to quite bounce back from sex scandals.

I applaud the Church for acting swiftly and taking corrective action. They did not attempt to keep it hush-hush, and transfer the monsignor to another church with unwitting parishioners.

So the monsignor doesn't "feel"he was sinning.

It's funny, God is not worried about what "we feel" is sinful or not.

We're expected to read the Word, and believe it, and apply it to our lives.

*sigh* I know, it's easier said than done. But it can be done.

ISIAH THOMAS LOSES SEXUAL HARRASSMENT CASE: Former NY Knicks executive awarded $11.6 million!

Another fine mess for Isiah Thomas. This time a jury has found that the coach of the New York Knicks, sexually harassed a former team executive and that Madison Square Garden, the owner of the team, improperly fired her for complaining about the unwanted advances.

The jury also ruled that the former executive, Anucha Browne Sanders, is entitled to $11.6 million in punitive damages from the Garden and James L. Dolan, the chairman of Cablevision, the parent company of the Garden and the Knicks.

Of that figure, $6 million was awarded because of the hostile work environment Mr. Thomas was found to have created, and $5.6 million because Ms. Browne Sanders was fired for complaining about it. Mr. Dolan’s share is $3 million; the Garden is liable for the rest.

The judge will decide later on compensatory damages, covering actual economic harm suffered by Ms. Browne Sanders, like back pay and benefits, reports the NY Times.

NO WOMAN (or man) should have to work in a hostile environment. *note to people in authority* you better look up employment law. Sexual harrassment pays off for the victim!!! People are very sympathetic towards sexual harrassment cases and being high profile, simply means you're going to pay out the WAZOOO!

Based on Anucha's pic (above) you'd have to be a stone cold fool plus 3 kinds of crazy, to believe she would put up with such foolishness. Shoot she turned my blood into ice, ok?? You can tell this woman does not play! Silly, silly guys! tsk, tsk.

Of course an appeal is on the horizon...i'm almost sure of it.
