That Stress Diet Looks Good on Carlita Patrick...

Well, Kwame went on TV a little while ago, and gave his farewell speech...if you wanna call it that. Kwame started out smooth acknowledged his reprehensible behavior and then he segued to our Governor Jennifer Granholm...
WHYYYYYYYYY did Kwame attempt to put the blame on Gov. Granholm for DOING HER JOB...when she caught hell from everyone bcuz SHE DID NOT WANT to do her job...and get involved with his soap opera???

Anyhooo, Kwame said it's 'time to step down' yada-yada-yada, blah-blah-blah, thank you Detroit blah blah blah, yada-yada-yada, my family blah-blah-blah, my friends yeah-yeah-yeah, Ken Cockrel blah blah blah, my grandfather, yeah-yeah-yeah

Kwame was truly Kwame, a great orator.
He's a smart man who does INCREDIBLY STUPID THINGS.
And one of his favorite phrases are, "I-I-I-I..."
he did manage to throw in a few 'we-we-we'

To make a short story long-Kwame gave a shout out to his wife, Carlita. And she popped up into the frame and stood by her husband like the Proverbs wife she is
(i hope).
So a few seconds later, Kwame started sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher (wahh wahh wahh wahh) bcuz I looked at Carlita who looks fabulous!!
She lost a lot of weight, hair looked good, had a kool-aid smile and she just had a Hi-Pro Glow.

I stand by my previous words...Carlita Kilpatrick is a strong woman.
You don't have to agree. I don't envy her marriage, but I do admire the courage it takes to stand side-by-side with that rascal.

But God!

He (Kwame Kilpatrick) Fought the Law and the ...Law Won (repeat 2x's)

STICK IN FORK IN KWAME...HE'S DONE!!

He started as the HOPE of Detroit

and

ended up being the DOPE of Detroit!

According to Channel 4 news of Detroit,

soon to be former mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick is resigning and has accepted a plea bargain.

According to the news report, Kwame will:

• Resign immediately
• plead guilty to 2 felonies (OUT OF 10!!)
  
• Pay $1,000,000 in restitution
• Serve 4 mos in jail
• Will not be able to run again for public office for 5 years.

He and his family were filmed meeting up at his office downtown-presumably to say goodbye. He even kidded with one of the investigative reporters...i don't know what those reporters are goin to do cuz Kwame was definitely their job security!

Also my finance professor works for Kwame!! But she's NOTHING like him. I won't put my professor on blast like that (I haven't passed her class yet!)....I and she have too much class for such uncouth like behavior! :)

No word on whether he'll be disbarred or not.

All of the taxpayers money spent on nonsense, and HE'S STILL having to resign.
He could've saved hundreds of thousands of city dollars and resigned for free.
what is really going on?
and only in America, can a guilty political official get out of 10 felonies, be charged with two, and run for office again in 5 yrs.
Gotta love it.
Please believe-there are idiots who will be marking their calendar-sending Kwame a text message lettin him know when his 5 yrs are up.

Ne-Yo aka Shaffer Smith, won over $700k in court stemming from that bootleg concert he was in with Keisha Cole and R. 'Piss-Pot' Kelly.

Ne-Yo sued the concert promoter, Rowe Entertainment instead of Piss-Pot, err Kelly.

Can't say I blame him.

Anytime your lawyers can keep you out of prison after you done fiddled with some juvenile flesh...you got yourself a good lawyer.

But it's good to see Halle has the baby not covered under masks, or bathroom towels (think, a la Jackson), or at least she didn't do a Tom Cruise and wait until Nahla turned 12 before her debut like Tom did with Suri. Where's da-da?
