It's A Wrap, Folks...

Well, the circus of a marriage known as Juanie B/ and T Weaks is officially OVER as of today-one month short of their 6th anniversary.

As I've said before it's sad to hear about the demise of a marriage for it is not God's will, but some marriages are pretty much doomed from the start.

In '07, they were all over my blog...but now, I could care less. I just hope one day they are lead to true repentance (away from the cameras), and can truly remember why God called them to ministry.
Until then...PRAY.

What A Terrible Web We Weave When We Practice To...

UPDATE:::it seems there's no truth to the rumor of Usher's marriage. Again..IT SEEMS there's no truth to the rumor. I just read (forgot where), that he recorded or is recording a duet with someone about marriage. So yeah, whatever.

Is Urshmeka a thing of the past??

I'm printing this bcuz it was at YBF and they're pretty reliable.
I don't know what's goin on...but word in blackosphere is that these two are dunzo.
If this is true, it's sad bcuz crap always seem to hit the fan AFTER a kid enters the pic..why is that??

I do have to agree with Natasha of YBF...whenever Usher has an upcoming album -HE ALWAYS generates some type of drama just to peddle his wares. IMHO it's desperate and soooo OLD HOLLYWOOD...that's why he won't get any of my hard-earned $$$. He (for whatever reason) won't rely on his talent but has to go all dramatic and play the public like pawns.

Anytime a marriage disintegrates is sad..but some folks should NEVER get married in the first place.

This is some sad news.
I guess divorce/separation/dissolution of marriages is just in the air/water.
I cannot believe Billy Blanks and his wife are separating-citing irreconcilable differences...so I guess it's going to divorce court.
Sadness.





I think it's sad that after 33yrs of marriage, they were unable to find a resolution.

Ok..y'all know I have not written barely a word regarding this woman, this year...but what I read just made my sphincter muscle pucker, so I gotta talk.

My gawd...WE GET IT...it is widely known in the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH...ur farce of a marriage is thru! Why must u continue to drag your mess outside of your house? Anything to stay relevant, right Juanie B?
I'm sure her having a sit down with Judge Toler of Divorce Court TV

will result in a couple of conferences for black christian divorcees and women currently going thru a painful -though i'm sure NOT PURPOSELY PUBLIC-divorce.
This is very dangerous, and is making a mockery out of the institution of marriage.
You better read Matt. 6:1-24, Juanie. You want to 'practice' your do gooding in front of people (abused women, public ) in hopes of coming across as a patron saint...God said He'll reward what He's seen done in secret...away from the public (cameras, lights, reporters, people).

You are treading on DANGEROUS GROUND...and you better repent! There is NO SCRIPTURAL foundation, for what you're doing.

Star Jones, Recipient of The 3rd Annual Whitney Houston/Terri McMillan Award

What the Whitney Houston/Terri McMillan Award* Is:::: This prestigious award is bestowed upon seemingly smart, intelligent, talented, prominent african-american female celebrities who by all intents and purposes APPEAR to have it all together, until their low self-esteem dictates otherwise-usually in the form of a spouse that even Lucretia the neighborhood crack head wouldn't marry. Brotha man may be a druggie, a ho', bum, DL, an opportunist etc. This brotha's issue is APPARENT TO EVERYONE except his celebrity wife. Even the lady serving hot dogs at the airport tries to warn girlfriend!

After years of being public fodder, her publicist's laughingstock, looking like a deranged fool as she defends the man she loves, causing record sales for tabloids and People Magazine, attempting to believe her own lies (because she's told them often enough), holding her head up high and giving everyone the 'sideye' DARING someone to say something to her face, going off on paparazzi-when she formerly loved their attention, and a career that's nosedived quicker than a 2-engine cessna- she has a moment of clarity. YES! *applause* The recipient has finally snapped out of denial, apologized to everyone she's cussed out, filed for divorce and undergoes a makeover that would make former talk show how Jenny Jones envious, causing her career to soar to newer and greater heights.

The 3rd annual Whitney Houston/Terri McMillan Award is being awarded to a woman who's known for her no holds barred attitude towards controversial, legal topics as well as at a smorgasbord- back in the day.

This woman is educated, a legal eagle beagle, who has had ringside seats during prominent court trials, and who's opinion was greatly respected. She's always expressed love for her mother, and father (who's not her biological dad, btw), as well as shoes. As a matter of fact, this self-proclaimed 'Diva' was spokesperson for Payless Shoe Source.

Although we know her, she needs no further introduction, she is a household name ...HOWEVER, she seemed to have lost credibility when she introduced her 'husband' Al. Eyebrows furrowed, the 'kids' snapped 3x's, necks AND eyes rolled, question marks were seen poppin' up all over the place, the most texted acronyms (in reference to Star and spouse) on celebrities' t-mo sidekicks were "WTH, WTF, SMH and IDK", and the whispers commenced in every hollywood clique. Nonplussed, Star Jones-YES STAR JONES...held her head high.

She went gastric on some negroes, lost weight, had saggy skin, then she didn't have saggy skin, then she tightened up the saggy skin, then there was cleavage, then the cleavage was covered up, gf all but begged for sponsors to hook her up for her wedding (and they did), she cracked Barbra Wawa's face, and she loves her some swimsuits! She's tried several looks, and she has finally found her niche!!

While we're all saddened upon hearing another marriage dissolving (for that is not God's will)-some marriages should have never taken place.

I Married Paul McCartney, and All I Got Was A Bloody Check For $50MILLION DOLLARS!!

The divorce proceedings that seemed to never end...has ended.
Heather will be getting a check cut out in the amount of $50m!
That is $50,000,000.00-that's alot of doggone zeroes.

The downer to this story is lil Beatrice (their offspring) gets a pittance of $70k/year.

I didn't want to think Heather was on a paper chase..., but she leaves me with no other doubts. Beatrice is a kid..she can go to public school like I did, get ONE SECURITY GUARD, AND PUT HER BUTT IN COACH ON AN AIRPLANE (SHE'S ROCK ROYALTY...NO ONE'LL MESS WITH BEA, ALSO SHE HAS ONE BODYGUARD!!!), AND HAVE THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT KEEP AN EYE ON HER...THAT'S WHAT MY MAMA DID!!!!

And unless Beatrice has a cocaine crack problem Paul doesn't know about, I would think $70k /yr should suffice FOR A FOUR YEAR OLD!! Or better yet Heather, PAY FOR HER STUFF OUT OF UR $50MILLION DOLLARS!! She (heather) married for 4 yrs, had a child and made more money then she'll ever make in her entire life and she's still complaining?! Give me a break! You know Paul is going to hook Beatrice up...but for her to complain in public is ridiculous.

Sadly, I don't believe this is the end of their drama. Somebody's goin to write a juicy tell-all. I won't buy it, no offense-but British people bore me. Unless you're Scary Spice or Prince Harry, or Emma Thompson-there's a couple of others, but their names escape me now.

Bynum-Weeks divorce talks break down after Essence article

Talks in the divorce case of national evangelist Juanita Bynum and her estranged husband have broken down since the pastor dished about her troubled marriage in Essence magazine.

Attorney for Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III said Monday that the magazine story has halted negotiations between the couple.

Bynum is featured in a story this month about her tumultuous relationship with Weeks. She discusses past incidents of abuse and the night of the alleged Aug. 21 attack that eventually led to the divorce.

Bynum's divorce attorney, Karla Walker, did not want to comment Monday on the case.

Bynum has accused her husband of beating, choking and stomping her to the ground in an Atlanta hotel parking lot. After the incident, Weeks was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple battery.

Weeks' attorney Randy Kessler, of Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, said the story in Essence "revealed a calculated, aggressive media attack on Bishop Weeks," who has denied the alleged attack.

ATLANTA - (AP) The husband of televangelist Juanita Bynum denies that he treated her cruelly and says they have not been continuously separated since June, as her divorce petition alleges.
Attorneys for Thomas W. Weeks III were expected to file his counterclaim for divorce later Wednesday. The four-page document goes beyond simply answering Bynum's petition and makes a case for Weeks.
"Now they have each asked for a divorce," said Randy Kessler, one of Weeks' attorneys.
In the response, Weeks admits to most of the allegations in Bynum's complaint, but denies her assertion that the two have been separated since June. Weeks said they spent one night together in August that boosted his hopes for reconciliation.

National evangelist Juanita Bynum has filed for divorce in Gwinnett County and has been granted a restraining order as the proceedings move forward. (what exactly did this man do to her to make her so vindictive? It seems that he ain't thinking about her, but her obsession with him has taken hold of her-LOOSE HER SATAN IN JESUS' NAME!! Hell has NO WRATH LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED-that's what they say anyway)

The petition for divorce and the mutual (mutual?? hmmm, I'm not surprised at that revelation) restraining order was received by the Gwinnett County Superior Court Thursday afternoon.

Bynum, who separated from her estranged husband Bishop Thomas W. Weeks III in June, is seeking a divorce based on the argument that her marriage has been "irretrievably broken (I thought her husband came from God??)," and that she is a victim (victim?? no comment) of "cruel treatment."

Bynum, 48, told police in August that Weeks beat, choked and stomped her to the ground in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel. Weeks, also a pastor, has denied the alleged abuse.

He was charged with felony aggravated assault, felony terroristic threats and two counts of simple battery in connection with the alleged attack. (old news)

The wealthy (wealthy, at the expense of "her flock"-as her fans are referred to at time.com) evangelist is also asking the court for possible financial support (ok, where's the cameras? Is this candid camera? is this a joke? no seriously, is this a joke?! So-it seems to me Mrs. Pulpit-pimp, is trying to "pimp" her soon-to-be-ex, a fellow Pulpit-pimp! Ashton... Ashton, I'm tired and am in no mood to be Punk'd-Ashton,come on out, now!!) that the court may deem equitable or appropriate."

The divorce petition in Gwinnett mirrors a petition Bynum had filed earlier this month in Ware County. That petition was dismissed because it was filed in the wrong jurisdiction. Lawyers for Weeks, 40, said the case had to move north to Gwinnett because that's where Weeks resides. The couple have a $2.5 million home at a Duluth country club. (mmmm-hmmmm)

Attorneys for Weeks said Friday they will respond to the divorce petition, but said they question Bynum's motives (by george, I think they've got it!)for her recent media appearances. In recent weeks Bynum has appeared on the front page of The New York Times and has been a guest on Christian radio and Good Morning America (no chitlin' circuit for JB!).

Bynum, who has declared herself (she's soooo humble!) the "face of domestic violence," has said she plans to launch a ministry (how many ministries can one person have?!--she's going to fleece the abused women-rember it's the vulnerable who falls for the silver-forked tongue!) to help women who suffer partner abuse.

"She thinks she is going to get some benefit (oh, you think??)by going public with this," said Randy Kessler, Weeks' attorney. "It is not necessary for divorce purposes. We are going to take the high road." (i have to agree-very minimal face time)
Bynum's attorney Karla Walker also sought a restraining order in the divorce petition.

The protection order prohibits both Bynum and Weeks from "any act that injures, maltreats ... intimidates or harasses" each other. It also prevents the couple from retaliating against each other by disconnecting the utilities or canceling insurance policies. (are they talking about Christians, or Church folks aka worldly people who go to church?)

Bynum, who uses the married name Bynum-Weeks, is asking the court that her last name be restored to Bynum, which she uses for professional (not spiritual but professional, she is a pro when it comes to separating currency from people's pockets, wallets, socks, bosoms, book pages etc) purposes on occasion.

Bynum and Weeks married in an elaborate ceremony in 2002 (how ironic, the wedding was much talked about, and so is the pending divorce! tsk tsk tsk). They moved to metro Atlanta in 2006 to start Global Destiny Church in Duluth.
