I have to pay taxes ....and so do you!

  • DAMON DASH IN TAX TROUBLE?: Mogul reportedly owes $2 million to state of New York; Cicely Tyson, Ben Vereen targeted as well.

*Jay-Z's former business partner Damon Dash is said to owe over $2 million in state taxes in New York, reports the New York Post.

The 36-year-old former CEO and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records sits on a reported $50 million fortune, but has reportedly failed to pay taxes on the lot. SmileyCentral.com

Dash, whose pricey possessions include a $400,000 chauffeured Maybach sedan, isn't the only tax deadbeat, according to the state of New York. Cicely Tyson reportedly owes $124,320, while Ben Vereen is $119,825 in the hole. Also, Ornette Coleman, who won the Pulitzer Prize for music this year, owed $7,814, the Post said.

In April, Dash filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against his accountant for submitting several years of erroneous tax returns on his behalf. Hope he did a background check on his current accountant! SmileyCentral.com

To the Queen of Class, and Sir Style I extend leniency.

If it was in my power Ms. Cicely & Ben wouldn't have to pay a dime-they've paid their dues...LITERALLY (paving the way for future black entertainers) & FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING.

Damon Dash: Stop feuding with your wife in public, and send a check --wait since you love Europe maybe you'll understand this spelling, send a cheque to the IRS as in yesterday. To quote my bigma:

Sheeple! Why Didn't You Pay Juanie B's Taxes?!

Suggested Reading for JB:

"Girl, Get Your Money Straight"
by Glinda Bridgforth

Juanie B has made the headlines again, except I'm sure she'd rather they 86'd this story!

Last month I posted that Juanie B paid $5k on her taxes
(jog your memory here)
and that she was still $30k+ short.

As of yesterday November 16, 2007, Juanie B's property taxes were late again in the amount of $31, 863.39.

Lawd, I guess her lawyer couldn't get that tax exemption she hoped for on the sprawling 30-acre, $4.5m property. Oh Juanie!
What's a girl to do??
We know Juanie B, a P.R. (public relations) MASTER, will crank out an explanation quick, fast, and in a hurry!

According to ajc.com:

"If Bynum's new tax bill is not paid today, late fees will begin to accrue at a rate of 1 percent per month — or about $318 — until the debt is paid off.

Another 10 percent penalty-$3,186-will be added on the tax bill when it becomes 90 days late."

Ok, let's do some math:

SmileyCentral.com

let a=$318 (late fee ea month)
let b=$3,186 (when late at 90-day mark)

$31, 863.39+2a+b=
$31,863.39+ 2($318)+$3,186=
$31,863.39+$636+$3,186=

$35,685.39 (and counting)=
minimal payment due in 90 days, if payment isn't remitted immediately.

This is an approx because according to Ware County Tax Commissioner Steve Barnard, the $318 (1% late penalty) accrues until the debt is paid off. When it's 90 days late an additional $3,186 (10% late penalty) is assessed. Whether that means at 90 days late, she'll be penalized 11% monthly, or simply 10%- who knows. I'm sure we'll find out though. *smh*

I do not like seeing Juanie B in such precarious situations, but you can tell she thinks she knows EVERYTHING!

Juanie B, if you humble yourself and repent...I tell you, my Daddy is a waymaker!
Ask me how I know! I got a testimony!
I gathered from reading the article there was no love lost between Juanie B & Barnard.

Note to Juanie B: FAVOR will take you where money won't, ok?! Having the right attitude (in Christ) will get you thru doors that would otherwise be impossible to walk thru!
YOU BETTER RECOGNIZE!!
***********
Forward to 2008

As everyone knows, esp. if you read Y.B.R, Juanie B is preparing to take "her-mad-as-hell-female-sheeple" to yet another level of anointing (can someone show me in the Bible where it's acknowledged that God is a "level" type of God and that He is "poly-level"??) He's one God-with ONE ANOINTING!
She's preparing them for their destiny (can someone show me where in the Bible where God passed a destiny/purpose mantle to Juanie B & her pulpit-pimp-cash-money-crew??) and purpose on Valentine's Day 2008. There she'll expound on her domestic abuse plight (again), and I'm sure she'll be introducing her catchy "destiny/purpose/another level slogan to the sheeple at that time- which is designed mere to separate clueless, idolatrous, dumb in Christ, women from their wallets.

The devil's work is never done!

Because "a hard head makes a soft as-" err "behind," some folks have to be shown, rather than told.

Just look at Juanie B's cohorts, getting chin-checked by Sen. Grassley!

Or as my friend Phil calls them:

The Sacrilegious Six

*Don't need you to agree with me, but the truth is the truth anyhow!*

The government, be it local or federal, is all up in the pulpit pimps' business, because they're not handling their business correctly.

What the pulpit pimps really need is this:

Can you imagine the smackdown God'll give if these shysters don't repent??

Heaven help 'em!

JUANITA BYNUM: Tax Drama Can't Stop Her From Getting 'Unplugged'

source
(emphasis by Ivent)
When you address Juanita Bynum you better refer to her as "Doctor."
Or that's how she prefers to be referenced as.

A media alert announcing a last minute press conference for the Pentecostal Prophetess circulated earlier this afternoon saying that "Dr. Bynum will address the media regarding the current tax issues facing Juanita Bynum Ministries."

Held at the Atlanta gospel radio station WPZE-FM, the 48-year-old self-proclaimed "new face of domestic violence" wanted to face the music in regards to reports that implied her money was funny.

Earlier this week, Ware County Tax Commissioner Steve Barnard said this week the property owned by her ministry would be auctioned off next month if Bynum didn't pay more than $33,000 in property taxes.

Today, the Chicago native said that all those taxes have been paid, adding that she wants to turn the property into a spa for women and that her lawyers told her it could be considered a tax-exempt religious building.

"It didn't work out that way...So be it," the tell-it-like-it-is televangelist said.
What she didn't say was whether she planned to charge women to visit the spa, whether it would be an overnight facility or the size of the building where the spa would be housed.

The near 7000-square-foot house sits on more than 23 acres. Bynum's Waycross-based ministry bought the building Aug. 18, 2006, tax records indicate.

The county tax commissioner said he had received a check earlier for $33,904.15 from New Light Church World Outreach in Houston, the Associated Press reported. However, that the property technically remained set for auction on Nov. 6, he added.
"It's not paid off until the check clears the bank," he said, noting he expects to know next week whether the check clears.

In other related news, the tax drama isn't holding Bynum back from releasing her new music project.

Her publicist confirmed to The BV Newswire that 'Juanita Bynum: Unplugged' will be released in November via Flow Records. Recorded in "High Definition" at a small Atlanta church, the nearly 2 hour DVD is comprised of candid interviews, anointed, uncut performances from her latest hit opus 'A Piece of My Passion,' and her trademark dynamic ministering!

If this new project is anything like the I've witnessed recently on YouTube.com, it should be thoroughly enthralling.

The record label has pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds from each DVD sale to organizations fighting against Domestic Violence.

Shortly after being allegedly assaulted by her estranged husband Bishop Thomas Weeks, III,

Bynum announced she will take a stand against mental and physical abuse by lending her support to a myriad of causes.

At presstime, an organization has not yet been named.

CORRECTION UPDATE** "Juanie B" Did NOT Pay Her Tax Bill!

*sigh*

While visiting my girl, Lynn's site hicktownpress.com, one of the members named Monica, gave us a tidbit. Juanie B did not pay her tax bill, but co-false teachers The Hilliards did. Read here: Hicktown Press post

Firstnews.com is quoted: "...The county tax commissioner said Friday he had received a check earlier for $33,904.15 from New Light Church World Outreach in Houston. He added, however, that the property technically remained set for auction on Nov. 6.

And if that's not enough...if you REALLY, REALLY want to know what Juanie B is about...take a look at this video some sycophant with a lot of time on their hands put together for those unawares:
I BRING YOU THE AMAZING, PROFITESS, ANOYNTD, WMN OF GAWD,

JUANIE B!
AND SHE'S 48, NOT 40

Hey LaFace-Handle Your $$$$ So You Can Look Out for Abused Women!!!

Bynum pays $32K in taxes, plans to open spa
(edited for space, bold remarks by Ivent)

source Evangelist Juanita Bynum said Friday she has paid the delinquent property tax on her $4.5 million compound in Waycross, where officials had threatened to auction the property. (Wow...who..is..HER..PLASTIC SURGEON?!)

Bynum said at a press conference that the debt was an oversight. (aka, my fans did not send enough money to pay my bills!)

Nevertheless, Ware County tax officials say they are depositing Bynum's check for more than $33,000 but they don't intend to take her property off the market until they are sure the payment is good. An additional $300 is still owed on the property (Oh, Juanie!).

"I'm not taking it out of tax sale until the check clears the bank (you betta recognize--he's no fool!)," said Ware County tax commissioner Steve Barnard. "It takes about a week."

Barnard said Bynum's representatives (aka sheeple) have agreed to pay the $300 shortfall.

Bynum is seeking a tax exemption on the property and hopes to recoup the tax payment (Juanie, needs to stop!) in the future, she said.

The 30-acre compound with a lake view in South Georgia was purchased to house the headquarters of Juanita Bynum Ministries and the Mt. Olive Country Spa for women seeking pampering, prayer and spiritual guidance (this is news to us! Those women will have to sow one heckuva seed in order to set foot on that property!) .

Bynum said her lawyers have applied for a tax exemption on the property, but the deadline for the property taxes came before the paperwork was complete. The pastor said she had put $5,000 down on the tax bill earlier but was advised by her attorneys not to pay the full bill until the exemption came through (mmmhmmmmm).

Earlier this week, the property was scheduled for auction for non-payment of taxes. Barnard filed a lien against the compound on June 7 because $32,007.56 in 2006 property taxes had not been paid. According to the lien, a $3,200 penalty and $2,240 in interest also is owed.

Bynum provided a copy of her receipt to reporters that showed $38,904.15 (why? she's a mess!) had been paid on the account.

"The word of God tells me my integrity shall preserve my inheritance(and what does God say about the treatment of poor people and false teachers, Juanie?)," Bynum said. "I am not going to lose anything."

Still Barnard said he doubts Bynum qualifies for an exemption. He said he has discussed Bynum's appeal for a tax exemption with the Georgia Department of Revenue and he does not believe that her compound should get one because it does not have a congregation and it is not open to the general public (here comes her next video idea).

"She has a gate that stays locked (cuz, it's her crib!)," Barnard said. "You can only get in that place with permission. If it's a religious [place] it has to be open to the public."Barnard also said for-profit businesses can not receive the religious exemptions. "It's going to be up to the Board of Accessors and the Department of Revenue to decide if she gets an exemption."

Meanwhile, Bynum said, plans are moving forward for the spa at the compound, which currently includes four buildings. Another building will be added for the spa and prayer room.
Bynum said she also will release a makeup line called Ethne' and a group of bath products under the Mt. Olive brand name. Both have been under development for about a year, she said. (Hey--"Face of Domestic Violence?" Abused women are goin to be happy when you give them access to the spa, prayer room, and make up products!! Oh, wait a min..you're goin to charge aren't you??? Scratch that)

The tax issue was the latest legal drama involving the nationally known Pentecostal evangelist, who has been in the news in recent weeks after alleging she was beaten by her estranged husband, Thomas Weeks III, also a pastor.

Bynum asked her fans to keep praying for her. She said the tax issue is not a "big deal"(of course it's not, that's why with your uncouth self, you pulled out the receipt and showed everyone!! It's noooooo...big...deal!) and that she had the money to pay for it all along (Juanie, we KNEW you'd have an explanation!)."How many people do you know who can say they own (a) $4.5 million (we know you can brag about it Juanie!) in investment property," Bynum said. "The mortgage is $26,000(always the braggart-Oh Juanie!!). Stuff happens (it sure does Juanie, and when "stuff happens" to you, we can always depend on you and your facelift to jump in front of the camera with a lame brained, no rhyme or reason explanation-you NEVER fail to disappoint us!")

What Goes Around...

Bynum's $4.5M home in south Ga set for auction for nonpayment of taxesy

Evangelist Juanita Bynum's $4.5 million South Georgia compound is scheduled to be auctioned off next month for nonpayment of property taxes, officials said.

Ware County Tax Commissioner Steve Barnard filed a lien against the 23.6-acre property owned by Juanita Bynum Ministries on June 7, citing failure to pay $32,007.56 in 2006 property tax.
According to the lien, a $3,200 penalty and $2,240 (total= $37,447.56) in interest is also owed.

It's the latest legal drama involving the nationally known Pentecostal evangelist, who has been in the news in recent weeks after alleging she was beaten by her estranged husband, Thomas Weeks.

Barnard said Tuesday that the property, on St. Bernard Trail near Waycross, will be sold at auction on Nov. 6 on the steps of the Ware County Courthouse. The auction will be canceled if Bynum Ministries, which still has ownership, pays the full amount before that date, he said.

Bynum's Waycross-based ministry bought the property for $4.5 million last year.
Barnard said there is a 7,487-square-foot house, a 6,748-square-foot house and a 1,366-square-foot house on the property. Bynum lives in one of the homes (can u guess which house?), he said.
Barnard said someone from Bynum's office called him last month, "wanting to know if they could set up a payment plan, and I told them if she sent me $25,000, I'd take it out of the [Nov. 6] sale, and she'd have 60 days to pay the balance.

That partial payment was supposed to be made by Sept. 28, Barnard said.
"I never received anything, and then last week, I received a check for $5,000 (can u say ghetto?!)and someone from her organization called and wanted to know if we got the check," Barnard said. "I said, well, we got a check for $5,000 that was supposed to have been $25,000, and they wanted to know if that (the $5k )would take it out of the sale and I told them, no."

Bynum told police in August that her estranged husband, Weeks, beat, choked and stomped her to the ground in the parking lot of an Atlanta hotel.

Weeks, also a pastor, has denied the alleged abuse.

Bynum filed for divorce from Weeks last month in Gwinnett County. She moved to Waycross after separating from Weeks.
***
If it's the ministry's home, why is it being auctioned? That ministry generates MILLIONS.
Why would you send a check for a paltry $5k and the debt is in excess of $30,000?
Is this why there was a solicitation for $200k--for the FLESHING floor?
Is this why she's asking Weeks, for financial support?
I'm not an oderiferous expert...but somethin SMELLS FISHY!
You evicted your hubby, dogged him out, and now look. God does not like ugly.
She's going to have a perfect explanation as to losing the home. *smh*
The Bible says:
Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
As long as Bynum continues to operate in Control, she's goin to lose much more.
It's time to confess and repent before the Lord, get some healing Juanita!
God is not to be mocked!
