Pretty-eyed Gary Dourdan who plays Warrick Brown on CSI (and as 'Shazza' on hit show 'Different World')was arrested Monday (4.28.08) at 5:12am on drug possession charges.

Gary was SERIOUSLY trying to quiet the voices in his head...he was caught with:

• Cocaine
• Heroin
• Ecstasy AND
• Prescription Drugs.

He'll be fine as long as he enters rehab quickly and keeps Dr. Phil's lecherous behind at bay.

JUST SAY FRIGGIN' NO!'

Staying on the show isn't a concern seeing as how he informed the producers he would not be renewing his contract.
I'm sure he was under the influence when he advised them, and when he sobers up he'll go back crawling and begging for his job back!

TMZ has learned rapper Lil' Wayne has been hit with some big time charges -- possession of cocaine, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Make it rain!

Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, was arrested with two others who have been charged with possession of marijuana. Cops say they found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy pills on his tour bus -- after they stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint.

Police also found $22,000 in cash and a 40-caliber pistol, but Wayne, we're told, does have a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Florida. They tell us they're checking to see if that carries over to Arizona.

The judge set his bond at $10,000. He should be released in a lil' while.

• stomped
• stepped on his hand AND FOOT
• hand was ground in by perp's shoe

• whooped
• pushed
• hit in the face with cooler door

-there was more that could not be aired on TV. The abuse went on for almost 5 minutes, and he only let up-when store patrons came near.

DETROIT -- Detroit police said they've arrested a man in connection with the beating of his girlfriend's 2-year-old son that was captured on a convenience store surveillance tape.Police spokesman James Tate said the 27-year-old was arrested Friday night at a relative's home after viewers saw his photo on televised news reports. Police had released the tape to help capture him.Tate said the man, whose name wasn't released, could be arraigned as early as Sunday.

The video from Dec. 21 showed a man hitting, kicking and stepping on a child over a four-minute span. LONDON — Amy Winehouse was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband, according to several British media reports.

Authorities said a 24-year-old was arrested during an appointment at a police station as part of an investigation into "perverting the course of justice," an offense similar in American law to contempt of court or obstruction.

Several British media outlets — including Sky News, Times Online and the Press Association news agency — reported that the woman was Winehouse. Police would not confirm the reports.

Winehouse, 24, recently canceled all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year on doctor's orders. Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, was ordered held in custody in London last month on charges of perverting the course of justice stemming from a case in which he is accused of assaulting a male bartender in June.

Fielder-Civil allegedly tried to interfere with a witness' testimony, according to court documents.

Winehouse, an admitted marijuana smoker, has been dogged by reports of continued drug use amid a flurry of canceled concert dates. She was recently spotted walking outside of her London home wearing a bra and jeans, with no shoes, looking distressed

BLACK MAN ARRESTED IN TUPAC NOOSE INCIDENT: Suspect, 43, charged last week with criminal damage to property.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that a black man was arrested last week in connection with the hanging of a noose on a statue of late rapper Tupac Shakur in Georgia.

As previously reported, the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain announced it had been vandalized last month. In addition to the noose offense, which police later said was actually a cross hung on a string, the Center also said that defamatory stickers and papers were left on the statue and that a pair of underwear had been wrapped around its head. The building was also defaced in the incident, the Center announced.

Kenneth Anthony Wilson, 43, was arrested and charged with a felony second-degree charge of criminal damage to property and is being held at jail in DeKalb County jail on a $1,500 bond, reports the paper.
A police spokesperson told the newspaper that authorities doubt Wilson had a racial motive in the incident. (This last sentence is hilarious!! what idiot posed such a question, that a spokesperson had to reply it wasn't racially motivated?!)

I don't know if Kenneth Wilson is a blithering idiot, or a shrewd manipulator.

I say this because...i'm wondering if he intentionally defaced out of anger, or rebellion or could he be hungry, homeless etc and he needed to do somethin that'll guarantee him going to jail, thus resulting in 3-meals-a day, and a roof over his head. I mean he's held on a $1500 bond...not much but he could get out.

This story was suspect from the giddy-up which is why i didn't post the story.

Mother Assaults Students At School (Detroit, MI)

Noble Middle School was locked down on Tuesday and a student’s mother was taken into custody after a fight escalated.

Two girls got into a fight in the lunchroom at Noble Middle School on Fullerton Road.

One of the girls called her mother for help, police said. The mother arrived with two men.

School officials said the adults walked through the front doors of the school. Police said the mother assaulted and confronted students.

“They came through the front door, they didn't come through the side, they walked in and started attacking kids and they injured my child. I'm on my way to the hospital now to take my child,” Linda Finley, a mother.

The woman was taken into custody and the lockdown was lifted.

This type of behavior is reported at least once a year. That's one too many.

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- A married couple were arrested within hours, each on suspicion of drunken driving.

First the husband, then his wife were arrested.

Police in a Michigan town said they stopped the man and gave him a preliminary breath test after watching him allegedly run a red light.

Police said the test registered above the legal .08 drunken driving limit.

He had his 12-year-old son in the car with him, and police told the boy to call his mother to pick him up.

After she arrived, with her 9-year-old daughter in the car, police said, the woman was tested and also found to be legally drunk.

Both children were turned over to a relative until the parents were determined to be sober.

Hmmm, sounds like a match made in hell.
Despite the shaky foundation these parents have given their children,
I'm hoping the siblings will be able to overcome their circumstances.
Being the "child" of an alcoholic, is not a walk in the park-I have first hand experience. I put quotations around the word "child" because when your parent is an addict, regardless of their drug of choice, you're no longer a child once you're aware of their dependency.
You become the parent, and they become the child.
I pray these children make it.
