Happy Father's Day...

This goes out to all Fathers, women who (by no choice of their own) have had to fill in and step into the role of daddy, since the men in their life chose to be gone in the wind, and to the men/women who may not have biological children...but have sure nuff encouraged, mentored, loved on, rebuked, encourage, built up, hugged, picked up, dropped off, given money to, kissed, cried for, hurt for..SHO' NUFF PRAYED for children of other people. Let the record show...you are a parent too!

I take my hat off to you on this day...and I pray this day is as special for you, as you are to me!

Happy Mother's Day, Mama!!

To every beautiful, strong, enduring, persevering, long-suffering, mother-I take my hat off to you.
You made it sista, the kids are still alive, no bail had to be posted, and you don't have a court date!

God bless you mama.

Oh...and you don't have to have bore a child in order to be a mom...if you've ever given a child a nugget of wisdom, a hug, a tongue-lashing, a kiss, ruffled their hair, corrected them, gave them the 'I-wish-you-would-do-I-look-like-a-fool-to-you' stare, an affirmation, a word of encouragement, or maybe u explained to them why their parents act the way they do, THEN YOUZ A MAMA TOO!

May you not go near a kitchen, vacuum cleaner, broom, washer/dryer, microwave, or ________________(fill in the blank). Your family'll just keep the dishes in the sink til tomorrow anyway! lol

MAMA, IT'S UR TIME TO SHINE!

Scripture of the Day...

Luke 2:11-14 (NKJV)

11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “ Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”[a]

ATTN: Juanie B & 'Bishop' T- Same Conference dates? What's the Sheeple to do???

SmileyCentral.comThis just in from the set of "Shysters & Perverts in Jesus' name", HicktownPress' ace reporter, Lynn was on the scene first to bring us this news: source

BTWIII
Schedules "Renaissance for Domestic Wholeness Conference," Valentine's Day Weekend 2008
(He still hasn't admitted his problem with Domestic Violence, he's just admitting Domestic Violence is a problem...whatev) *see vid below*

Sheeples are good for being pimped at conferences...they're like conference "groupies." They will use all of their vacation days for a conference! But what's a sheeple to do when there's TWO false teachers' ministering at the same time?? This calls for creative scheduling, as Weaks' soon-2-b-x-wife Juanie B, has scheduled her Domestic Violence Conference for the same weekend, Valentine's Weekend 2008!

scroll to very last sentence

All is not lost...although Juanie B is "scheduled" to have a conference in February, she has nothing in stone at her website. However...she doesn't seem like the type that'll back away from a challenge. This would be right up her alley to have the conference in order to prove something to BTWIII.

This has great potential to get ugly, but if they allow SmileyCentral.com to come in and minister to them, Valentine's Day can prove to be a day of healing for them both.

(Imprisoned perv, Warren Jeffs)

art.w.jeffs.gi.jpg

(CNN)
-- A Utah judge Tuesday sentenced polygamist sect leader Warren Jeffs to two consecutive prison terms of five years to life for his conviction on two counts of being an accomplice to rape, a court spokeswoman said.
Warren Jeffs listens to closing defense arguments during his trial in St. George, Utah, in September.

The consecutive sentences mean Jeffs will serve at least 10 years. The exact amount of time he serves will be determined by the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole in the future.

Jeffs, 51, the "prophet" of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or FLDS, was convicted in September.

He was accused of using his religious influence over his followers to coerce a 14-year-old girl into marriage to her 19-year-old cousin.

Fifth District Judge James Shumate ordered that Jeffs be remanded immediately to the Utah State Prison near Salt Lake City, and fined him about $38,000. Video Watch the judge sentence Jeffs »

Jeffs will receive credit for time served, Shumate said.

The girl, Elissa Wall, now 21, testified that she repeatedly told Jeffs at the time that she did not want to be married and was uncomfortable with sexual advances from her husband, Allen Steed.

Jeffs advised her to pray and to submit to her husband, learn to love him and bear his children -- or risk losing her "eternal salvation," the woman testified.

Wall's attorneys made her name public at the end of the trial, with her consent. She is married to someone else and has left the FLDS.

Questioned by Shumate during Tuesday's sentencing hearing, Wall maintained she did not seek restitution from Jeffs.

"My restitution is knowing that I spoke the truth, and you and the justice system have done your job, and I respect that very much, and I have faith and confidence that you will continue the healing process for me," she told the judge.

Offered the opportunity to speak, Jeffs did not. He showed no reaction as the sentence was imposed.

In sentencing Jeffs, Shumate noted that 14 is under the legal marriage age in Utah and said Jeffs knew the marriage was unlawful. "First cousins of this age cannot marry lawfully in the state of Utah," he said.

He also denied a motion filed November 9 by Jeffs' defense attorneys asking him to set aside the jury's verdict. "A reasonable juror could not have concluded beyond a reasonable doubt from the state's purely circumstantial evidence that Jeffs encouraged another to rape Elissa Wall," the motion said.

Defense attorney Wally Bugden told Shumate he intends to appeal.

"We intend to do everything we can to reverse the verdict," Bugden told reporters after the hearing. "We do not believe the facts and the law support the charge of accomplice to rape." See a timeline of events leading up to the sentencing »

Two weeks ago, Shumate unsealed court documents indicating that Jeffs tried to hang himself while he was awaiting trial in January.

The documents, released at the request of the media, also indicated that Jeffs confessed to "immorality" with a "sister" and a daughter more than 30 years ago. The FLDS calls adult women "sister," so Jeffs' meaning is unclear.

Jeffs' attorneys said in a motion opposing the unsealing of the statements that their client recanted them the following month. Defense attorneys claim Jeffs' medical condition influenced his state of mind when he made those statements.

Members of the FLDS, based in the side-by-side border towns of Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona, openly practice polygamy. Jeffs, who is considered a prophet by his followers, has led the 10,000-member sect since his father's death in 2002. The FLDS is not affiliated with the mainstream Mormon church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He has drawn critical attention to the FLDS by allegedly arranging marriages to girls as young as 13, exiling male teens and young men to reduce competition for brides, and reassigning the wives and children of excommunicated male followers.

Jeffs, who was once on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list, was captured in Nevada in August 2006 after two years on the run. In addition to the Utah charges, he also faces multiple counts in Arizona of being an accomplice to incest and sex with minors.

He's just McNasty!

One Nation Under God? Not Yet.

It's Veterans' Day

...I forgot it was a holiday. Since I don't work at the post office, bank or library-I had to show up at work as expected, making it feel like any other work day. But it's not.

There are some Americans who enjoy freedoms such as:

walking down the street without police getting called,

Going to the store without being followed

DWM (Driving While Majority)

Not being accused of false crimes, or falsely imprisoned

Not tried in courts around the country unfairly

Noose-free working, educational environments

No red-lining, insurance gouging...well,you get my drift.

For the rest of us--we survive.

In honor of the men and women, who gave, given or are giving their lives for U.S.A. via the U.S. military

we say "Thank You for your sacrice."

If You Don't Stand For Something, You'll Fall For Anything

SACRAMENTO TV STATION APOLOGIZES TO TYLER PERRY: Flood of angry e-mails over Janet interview causes havoc.
source

*Never underestimate the power of Tyler Perry's e-mail nation.
Last week, the filmmaker vented his frustration last week with an interviewer at a Sacramento TV station who kept trying to ask Janet Jackson about her boob flash at the 2004 Super Bowl instead of questions about their new film, "Why Did I Get Married?"

In his latest letter to fans, Perry states: "After you all saw that interview that Janet and I did; you started an email campaign that ended in this man going on air and giving an apology. He got so many emails that it crashed the computer system at the TV station. The other employees couldn't get emails from what I understand."

The original interview with Sacramento's CW31 reporter Mark S. Allen can be seen here.

Allen's subsequent apology can be viewed below:

The stroke of the pen, the click of a mouse, a word from our mouths represents one thing: POWER. We have the power to change lives, move mountains, make a difference.
We're doin it with Jena 6, we did it with Tyler Perry, now let's effect change in ou own lives, and in the lives' of those around us!

Spiritual Breakfast of Champions...

Today is an awesome day! The Scripture for the day is:

Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves.
Matthew 7:15 (Amplified Bible)
source: christ notes
***********
I will be posting more on the topic of false prophets later. Remember, the fruit of the Spirit for that is the focal point of this month is...Self-Control. All of the fruits are important, however some (ex. love, faith) are discussed more than others.
The only who can make you do what you don't want to do it is YOU.
Have a blessed day at work, school, home -whatever or wherever you'll be remember- Christ loves you! Ttyl
You betta recognize!
